RIDEYELLOW.org is a fundraiser benefiting local cancer charities and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. This annual event has become one of the Gulf Coast’s premier cycling events. It is always held the Saturday before Father’s Day. All skill levels and ages are welcome to ride.
RIDEYELLOW officially became a non-profit in September 2007. In keeping with its purpose and mission, RIDEYELLOW has chosen to annually rotate financial support to a local charity that provides assistance to those affected by cancer. The event has raised more than $200,000 to support local charities as well as the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The 2011 local charities were Camp Rap-A-Hope and the USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital – USS Hope, the region’s ONLY pediatric outpatient chemotherapy center.
HOPE RIDES ON… because it must. We hope you can join us this year in honor of or in memory of someone you love. And remember, “Cancer doesn’t take a break and neither can we!”
